Mr. Jinx is great about this already. My mom however could use an injunction or two to remind her

I hate this video, I hate his song, but I just can't hate him for it. Around this age is when my best friend and I started doing parody songs all the time and none were much more classy or appropriate than this. (A favorite was "Captain Molester", sung to the "Captain Planet" theme, which we thought was genius of us).

It is so weird to me that a group of people who have decided not to have children to follow their god-given passion in life would tell others it's wrong to do the same.

I still have a hard time convincing people of that regarding racial representation (why something as simple as a diverse cast on PBS kids programs made such a huge difference in my childhood). I can't imagine what it's like even nowadays trying to find "you" when it comes to sexuality beyond straight or gay.

Lindy, I know this is off topic, but I just Googled you (apparently I am now enough of a fan to do that lol) and saw you did a Cracked article in the past. That site is one of my daily checks along with Jezebel and I have to ask/bug/prod you why haven't you done more? Your sense of humor is great and I would love to

My daughter is a condom and hormonal pill baby. Statistically very rare, but it is certainly possible.

I really like this article. I loved X-Play as a tween/teen and it often led me to check out games I wouldn't have otherwise. Good to hear Adam Sessler is having success still, even if it's no longer in the industry.

I'm 25 and looking forward to the facial aging and even graying of hair, etc. But I am terrified about my boobs right now. After my daughter four years ago it took about eight months for them to "bounce" back (te-he), and they actually ended up looking perkier somehow, but I just had my son and I am dreading the end

I am going to fall apart multiple times during this. Roger Ebert made me look at movies in ways I never had thought to before, and introduced me to directors that have continued to enrich my life through their films. His writing was beautiful, funny, and almost always generous in his benefit of the doubt. I miss his

So I went down the rabbit hole and looked at "GR Media"'s page and apparently it's all songs/videos by this guy Adam Barta who writes the songs for these people and then produces their videos. Is this like the "Friday" Rebecca Black thing or am I just totally reading this wrong?

Wait this is them doing this seriously about themselves? I really thought this was someone else mocking them

oy, I meant if you were attracted to a blonde.

If you were attracted to a non-blonde but just couldn't let yourself date him because it would make you look like you couldn't get a brunette, yes you should get called out.

ugh please don't listen to those people. If you have decided to have children you are way ahead of the game than many parents anyway (this one included lol). I DO NOT want to be dismissive of single mothers who imo amazingly handle everything themselves, but in my experience parenthood is soooooo much defined by your

I really do love the script and character development of the Captain American movies, really I do, but Chris Evans...Chris Evans...Chris freaking Evans will have me watching Captain America 12 when it comes out

This. Seriously. I dread the day my son or daughter comes home and tells me about their own impending parenthood. Kids are fun and all now, but once they are at all on their own I want MY time back. Grandmahood is nowhere near my priority list and I can't imagine actually procreating for the purpose of them

If you've read a bunch of them and that is your takeaway then probably not. I think it's a great strip, funny, captures the feeling of childhood that I remember and the feeling of parenthood I am now living, and is just generally very fun for me to read.

It's almost like moms are just a part of the normal population that uses technology to describe their lives and connect with others

Respect for the flag? No thank you on my children pledging allegiance to a flag (even if "and the republic" is added on like an afterthought), especially before they are old enough to vote

Some of these comments really depress me, as a mom, and it kind of makes me not want to share with non-parents. I could have written any of these. I also post on the Confessional at Scarymommy.com. I also tell friends who don't want kids not to have them. Does that mean I would take back having mine? Nope. Does it
