must be a mercedes special. I had some 90s e320s and they did that thing. it's like watching a cat do that weird leg thing but with a hood and a car. very pleasing. and from my experience I assume they wanted to stop bumping their heads on that grill

I believe all Mercedes starting with the w123 open that wide. I own a couple of 240D and also a w201 190D and 190E that all open that wide, my w116 300SD unfortunately does not but it still offers ample room. It's one of my favorite features of the "newer" cars.

Why isn't Tavarish driving one of these, or telling us to buy one instead of a 6-year old Hyundai Elantra? I demand answers!

There's a guy who lives around the corner from me. In his garage is a last-gen Viper ACR, current gen Viper, Maserati coupe, and a Tesla Model S. He daily drives an older Expedition.

The amount of smug that's going on with (some) Tesla drivers is off the charts. A lot of them don't give a shit about the environment. They just like looking down on people who don't drive a luxury EV.

I love these cars. There was one down the street I would ride my bike past real slow to admire. I never knew about these AMG ones!

@VeeArrrSix: What does he do with any of his cars?

I always loved that generation of the SL. It was subtle but steamlined. It didn't scream look at me, but you couldn't ignore it either. It was simple and elegant, two things I always felt a Mercedes should be... And then the fifth generation SL came out and I was mildly dissapointed...but alas, thats life. Thank

This car reminds me of Lil Wayne and the song "Bling Bling."

What in the hell does the Sultan of Brunei do with FIFTY of these? Give 'em out for Festivus? One for each wife?
