Wrong. He’s right. The E63 S has 577hp and the C63 S has 503hp. Naturally the bigger car has more hp. The 63 is also a throwback to the gorgeous 6.29L NA V8s or the historic 300 SEL 6.3.

I do not get though, how SLC makes any more sense than SLK. It literally means the same thing only that now it’s spelled Murican not German (compact vs kompakt).
That’s right, at the current exchange rate you can knock off at least a third of the cars price. Although I think that such bare bone models would have a hard time finding customers and manufacturers would also be wary how these cars reflect on their image, especially in the US.
I just configured a 105hp A3 Sportback. Starts at $29k. Metallic paint, parking sensors, heated seats, sunroof, bi xenon headlights, nav, cruise control and sunroof. Even still has cloth seats and a manual transmission.
Collective income definitely, although it doesn’t have to be split equally. With one partner making $70k full time and the other making $30k and working less there’s ideally both enough money and a parent around at most times (though I’d be the last person to tell you how to raise a family).
While people are definitely aware that everything from school buses to taxis and garbage trucks can be Mercedes made the perception in most peoples minds still is a luxury car. Although the classic “If I wanted a Mercedes I’d have called a taxi” joke is still big with Audi and BMW drivers.
Again, that’s the price without options that gets you a 90hp car with cloth seats and hubcaps. No one is going to buy that for $25k.
Because they aren’t lower priced. The S3 you pictured is $42k base. A 1-series or A-Class will set you back $35k easily without any great options like nav, automatic, heated seats, alloy wheels or LED lights.
If you’re not able to support a family on the fairly good money you make, maybe it isn’t fairly good money. Wouldn’t even think of having a family under $100k/year.
It’s not that it doesn’t exist, it’s just that Americans wouldn’t buy it.
Thank you! I had to scroll way too far to find this :)
There we go again. Everything that’s not your carved in stone truth is “made up bullshit”.
And you’re comparing apples with oranges while showing the inability to argue on a factual basis. I’m not even letting you drag me down on your level.
The seat click is audible on every Benz, Bimmer you name it. The brakes might simply be worn, start stop systems always have their own minds even on a $40k Seat wagon and on the new Corvette the doors can be heard buzzing when you stand 50ft away.
That sounds everything else than boring to me, coming from Germany.
Nope he can’t because the battery is heating up so fast he’s getting the full acceleration exactly once.
Who the fuck cares where the tailpipe ends? It’s called “design” for a reason. As long as it makes the car look great - and it really does - it’s anything else than a “design failure”.
I’d always order it. Doesn’t this look awesome?
Thanks for explaining, I was genuinely curious. We use our Range Rover for transporting green/garden waste but I wouldn't do anything beyond that either.
If $28k is too rich you might want to consider a used full size truck. Far better value at that point plus less depreciation.
