I think the first half of Let's Kill Hitler is among some of the best of Smith's era. It derails by the end, but until that point, he and Alex Kingston have that fantastic back and forth and River actually seems psychotically dangerous for a moment:

I'd take Midnight as the best of the Tenth era too, though I don't think it's very representative.
