This is exactly what I wanted to say as well. I don’t understand the dislike and even hatred for her at all. This interview makes me think she is exactly what you said- kind, well-spoken, honest and humble.
I really don’t get people crapping on Anne Hathaway. She’s always seemed so intelligent; kind; well-spoken; humble; NOT assholelish at all. Maybe she seemed a bit pretentious for a hot minute there, I guess? But, like, who gives a crap. That’s pretty harmless, in the grand scheme of things.

“In 1987, they had been reduced to recording a cover of “Wipeout” with corpulent rappers the Fat Boys.”
She gets very, very few (if any) sketches where she’s the main player, from what I’ve seen. They mainly have her on as supporting or background.
They traded in Jay Pharoah and Taran Killam, both of whom were amazing, for two of the most generic white dudes imaginable—and those two white dudes are now in every single sketch.
Wow. A woman doctor... in the US... in 2017.
This disgusts me. How can a woman, who knows how painful this will be for the girl throughout her life.... how can she DO that?? How do mothers allow this to happen??
I am not surprised in the least that this doctor is a woman. FGM is often insisted upon by the women who have themselves endured it. I’m no fan of Ayaan Hirsi but she is clear that her father opposed the procedure, and her grandmother secreted her away from the home to undergo it. As well as another case profiled on…
Harry is clearly a very tall Leprechaun. William is a Squib.
I love Romania as much as the next guy but isn’t getting declared prince of Transylvania basically just screaming i’m a vampire.
He did suck the life out of a virgin bride. The man has at least a little form here.
Prince of Transylvania?
Did you see Horace and Pete? It’s clear he’s been in a pitch-black place for a few years now.
I knew things were wrong when I saw Louie wearing a tie.
“If this is anyone but Steve Allen, you’re stealing my bit!”
That whole episode of SNL he hosted was resoundingly unfunny. I used to be a Louis CK fan, until someone tipped me off to listen more to his podcast interviews and other material not packaged for television, and I was unhappy to discover I don’t enjoy a lot of his comedy after all. I don’t care what “insights” you try…
I don’t think this obscure indie comedy short quite qualifies as ‘popular’ or ‘unpopular’. It’s unknown by 95% of the SNL viewing audience.
Does anyone know how writing credits on SNL work? Everyone keeps calling it “Louis CK’s clown sketch” but do we know if he actually wrote it?
