For the most part, I liked the show. But the episodes from the last season just seemed to be written to wrap it all up. I’d DVR them and just skip through minutes of the show at a time because I knew I wouldn’t really be missing much. I can’t say that I wish it was still around.

I’ve always thought King’s short stories were far superior to his novels, since they are quick hits without too much to explain, and they don’t necessarily have to be wrapped up as tight. There are a few that are exceptionally creepy.

I believe many people think the miniseries is frightening because they watched it as children. It is not scary. It is hokey. I literally couldn’t sit through it because every single time I was supposed to be cringing in horror I was laughing uncontrollably at how silly it all comes across.

At some point it has become fashionable to “be afraid of clowns”. Everyone and their brother is afraid of clowns these days. You know, it really is okay to just fucking hate clowns...not because they’re terrifying, but because they are stupid and unfunny.

Really? Aside from some decent moments surrounding the young cast early on, most of it falls flat and feels cheap, non-atmospheric, rushed and poorly handled. Wallace is a better director than Garris (who handled too many of the King adaptations for TV), but not by much.

And now I want a Person of Interest/Fringe mash up.

THAT’S the lesson you think people should have learned? Go fuck yourself.

Which is just shorthand for “you don’t have a right to privacy.”

Won’t anyone stop them? PLEASE GOD MAKE THEM STOP!!!!

At this point, Frank Herbert must be rolling in his grave so fast that it’s become the second-largest contributing factor to global sodding warming.

Your mistaking reviewers for cheerleaders. They are 2 different things.
