Deadpool vs. The Punisher: As a side effect of not looking at Previews to avoid potential spoilers, I've been missing out on announcements of series I would've anticipated. Fred Van Lente and Pere Perez of my beloved and departed Archer and Armstrong series use the Punisher as the perfect serious foil to Deadpool.

Even on Jay and MIles X-Plain the X-Men they admit that Layton's opening arc on X-Factor is pretty awful (especially because it has Cyclops walking out on his wife and son, setting into motion the crossover trilogy of Mutant Massacre, Fall of the Mutants and Inferno). It's somewhat better under Louise Simonson but

"Have you heard of the tragedy of Darth Plantaingueis?"

Agreed, "Cry Wilderness" might have reached instant classic status.

Hang on to it! If this becomes a franchise you could rewrite it to star a woman and piss off the Internet!

And the JSA's own giant-sized, formerly-mohawked, time-travel-villain-killing Atom Smasher.

Now I'm just thinking about Katey Sagal…

A movie written by, no kidding, Peter Sagal from NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me (although he wrote it with no intentions of it being a Dirty Dancing movie).

I'm pretty sure Marvel Studio has the rights to Ka-Zar and Zabu, and we know they've got the rights to Speedball (for his cat Niels/Hairball/P-Cat the Penitent Puss). Swap in Tippy Toe the squirrel for Lockheed and give the Falcon an

He was caught up in the disaster that was 2016, between Bowie and Prince.

Maybe it's a show about Sharon Ventura.

Hela's headdress looks spectacular. It's truly Simonsonian levels of hugeness.

Umberto Eco (RIP) did a similar project recently called the Book of Legendary Lands. All three seem like they'd make one hell of a library shelf.

My boy Atom Smasher is number 1 on the list! Nice to see Mr. "Ruined My Basketball Career By Falling Off A Giant Kangaroo*" succeed at something.

He thought it meant "Quesada Sucks".

Man do I miss Al Ewing's "Loki: Agent of Asgard". Here's hoping Loki can show up in USAvengers.

How many angry tweets do you think James Gunn has gotten because people thought he directed this?
