no pls let x-files die already. the last season was so painful to watch.

It's not just that it had this police precedural vibe / structure. It was a very specific vibe of german/scandinavian police procedural. I'm really curious about what made it feel that way.I will have to rewatch it. Or maybe someone else has a theory?

How the hell is this episode not a straight F? Even the review read like it. I understand that ratings are relative to the rest of the show but c'mon how could this episode have been any worse? I really can't imagine.
