You're right it is a thing. Rays drive in is/was the best!! (Not sure if finally shut down). There were some seriously good burger joints too in SA. I’ll just add cheese enchiladas to the list. Check out Mendez on the southside for the best 2.99 enchilada lunch plate with government cheese. They know how to do it.

I owned a Kia Rio for the last two years and agree. The ride is very harsh, especially in SX trim with stiffer tuning. That didn’t do much for handling except make it feel like riding on wagon wheels. And I only every got up to 38mpg vs the advertised 40mg.
