I owned a Kia Rio for the last two years and agree. The ride is very harsh, especially in SX trim with stiffer tuning. That didn’t do much for handling except make it feel like riding on wagon wheels. And I only every got up to 38mpg vs the advertised 40mg.

Yes mirrors are scary as hell. Especially when my german shepherd is sitting at the end of the hall and I pass by the bathroom, glance into the mirror and see a shadow just staring at me. I turn around and it's just here looking happy sitting on the floor. For some reason in the mirror she looks like another beast.

Mother-in-law bought a brand new, loaded to the gills, CX-5. Personally, I think climate control is a blessing from God (grew up in south Texas). But every time I ride she has it on manual set to the coldest on high. The dual auto A/C is amazing and she doesn't use it.
