No Mans Sky was hyped to death, and like the game or not, I think it’s fair to say the hype train took it way to far. My point was, maybe the internet has learned to not hype something we don’t know much about so far in advance (much like Watch Dogs 1).

Just a note - the upfront paragraph is missing the “million” games sold. It just says <500 games sold at this point :)

Completely agree. Nintendo owned it with their short and succinct showing... Why? Games I actually want to play AND games that are coming out this year (looking at you Sony).

The game looks interesting, all hype at this point... But I’m sorry, what does this have to do with BG&E again? Am I forgetting something for 10+ years ago?

Remember when sony countered during E3 with the this is how you lend a game on the ps4 ad? They turned that around super quick. If they could just do something here, where they just say “Exclusives are such a vague term these days - let’s get something clear, when we say Exclusive, it’s only coming out on

It opened your mind. It’s all good.

www.japan-guide.com is your best friend. It has literally everything you need. Traveler ratings per region and city. They have the various routes to get there, cost, time of year impacts. It’s also updated with any type of construction (which happens more frequently than people realize.

I speak Japanese, passed the JLPT 3 level so basic/intermediate, and I’ve spent nearly a year there over 4 trips or so. I’ve traveled nearly all over the country... The only resource you need is www.japan-guide.com

I’ll be honest, I’m super stoked for this year. Switch dominates my limited play time these days and I definitely have the “everything should be portable on the switch” mentality at the moment. That being said, Sony continues to impress with games like HZD.

While I’m not actually an XBone fan, I think that there is a lot of value in competition in the marketplace. The machine has never been a huge problem imho, power is kinda overrated - it’s more what you do with it. And therein lies the rub, outside of Halo (maybe), there really aren’t specific reasons to buy an xbox

The graphics/gameplay argument is interesting. For the most part, I generally agree, some graphics compromise to keep the feeling of the game is great. However HZD in “4k” + HDR was absolutely stunning. Like just wow. That was worth the load times for me.

That didn’t fix it for me. It still changed constantly, which annoyed the hell out of me. I have started to just leave my switch off the dock most days.

Toradora.

You’re describing the sync issue to a T. You’re wife has a different problem. Either way just call nintendo, and they’ll replace both the broken ones at no charge. I wouldn’t hold out hope for some firmware update.

My gf and I have beaten 9/12 in the first set of levels. I’ve read there are several sets (but cannot confirm). So far, most of the solutions I’ve been able to figure out in a few minutes. I think the challenge is supposed to lie more with the implementation as opposed to the solution. For example, it’s obvious what

not quite. from what i read on another site, the user had it plugged in and was playing zelda and the system still eventually died. It’s because the battery pack couldn’t supply enough power. The switch is apparently rated for decent volt/amps. Most battery packs offer about 1/3 of the volts so it might slow it, but

I totally agree that the launch is just for hardcore fans and is basically a beta testing system. I’m sure they just want to test out online functionality. I had one reserved at target and canceled earlier this week. Seeing this news now, I’m happy with that decision. I really want one, and I know I shouldn’t, but I’m

I voted no, because they have been historically terrible. I can see the need for portal wifi login, but that aside, clear no.

I have a couple of local mom and pop stores. They buy for higher and price lower than gamestop (specifically - that’s their motto). I’m sure there are these types of places all over. Plus it’s more fun to go here. They have TONS of game all the way back to the NES and before. If you live in Phoenix, Fallout Games.

I got one of these a few months ago, on sale, for like $11 or $12. Totally worth it. I never used the adheisve it came with, just put scotch tape on it. Went with the white color option. Easily a great upgrade to a tv, especially a sizeable one. I found the 36" was plenty large enough if placed in the back upper
