Exactly my thoughts. NC is where I went to HS and college, and where I still have family, and I know for a fact that the boycotts and protests were absolutely instrumental in diminishing HB2 into the halfway-to-decent compromise the state is implementing now.
It is intellectually dishonest to pose the boycott of Georgia as something that is purely negative without noting where it has been successful in recent history - the boycott strategy was actually pretty effective in getting North Carolina to tone down HB2.
There is really only one thing that we can do that will have a chance of changing the trajectory that we are on. And that is to vote. Vote blue no matter who. Fill out the entire ballot, from president to judges to school boards. We must take back the senate, shore up our control in the house and win the presidency.
