This is true. Condensing the Way of Kings into one movie, you’d have to start with Kaladin as a bridgeman and have flashbacks of his past, of being a slave, of being in the army, and intersperse that with Dalinar’s story....and then cut Shallan completely.

Totally agree - - starting with Mistborn is the best idea. Starting with The Way of Kings is putting the cart waaaaaay before the horse.
