Since when does simple and six-step go together? I'm assuming this was in the "common sense" queue of scheduled filler? Slow day FTW!

Would not surprise me in the least to see it plagiarized. Anyone remember the "Swanson's WRITTEN rules of Management" by Raytheon CEO William Swanson and the ensuing shit-storm when it was found to be plagiarized? HEH. I had ordered boxes of those things for free from their website and shoved them in a closet.

At least it's safe to say there's no way in hell Sheila wants to be a programmer anymore. Another disaster averted! Well done.

WTF?

Is this really how secure our military communications are?

RAID is bulletproof backup.

@cameron_penn: I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking... how DUMB must someone be to post their ACTUAL DL picture on the internet, including a nice ps-choppable image of their signature.

I should have appended to my above post, my take-aways from the GTD seminar:

I met David Allen at a seminar he conducted on his GTD process. It was a decent seminar, and like most every single one I've attended, I took things away that have helped me out.

@bosworth: Yes, as I looked more into the site, I got that impression. I still say that is very poor design, though. There is no verification that the company I put in I have any affiliation to, and then to not allow someone else to put that company name in?

First glance looks pretty polished - I was surprised when I tried to type in "Personal" for the company name, it refused and said company "Personal" already exists? WOW, one company per user? That seems a bit odd, if you ran a small business and had 2 or 3 employees, wouldn't you want the company name for all 3

@ALEXANDER: Congratulations! :) Unfortunately, your story doesn't "sell" as well. The consumer society wants tragedy with their triumph, not a story that shows them what could have been! It seems too... rubbing it in our faces. :) Know though, that while it's not said, many millions envy you.

Ahhhhh, because losing your wallet isn't bad enough with having to call companies to cancel and reissue cards, obtain a new driver's license, health insurance cards, membership cards, and on and on.
