Please allow me to indulge myself and add my two cents' worth to this debate. The current Toyota Corolla is, objectively speaking, a bad car. Like it or not, that's the case. If you don't agree, I am highly suspect of whether you have test driven anything else.

I would have to say RAM Laramie, but that seems like cheating.

Mmmm, I knew that instrument panel before I even read your post. I miss mine.

Douglas Adams reviews the Veloster's looks.

Those are CM Santa Fe doors, by the way. Props to Jalopnik of using a picture of an actual Hyundai plant instead of a stock photo of some bozo putting wheels on a 2003 Malibu.

Why did I laugh so much at this?

Big Ben is beautiful, but I prefer the Kremlin.

Isn't that car from a Free Credit Report dot com commercial?

...and that's why you always wear a harness!

Being a unit snob doesn't make you look smart, or cosmopolitan, or scientific. It makes you look like somebody who can't manage to perform a simple constant multiplier conversion.

I just realized that my car doesn't have nearly enough cranks on the doors.

Not "HDTV Converter Box", but "DTV" converter box. OTA broadcasts changed from analog to digital, not really from SDTV to HDTV. So it's a Digital converter box. Not all digital is HDTV, and that box won't help your old TV get an HDTV signal.

Wait... there are mechanical crossovers? Or did you mean to say: "either digital or analog"?

And then it's ruined forever and will never be of use to anybody again. Wait, that's not how it works?

I would, without a second's hesitation, choose a 901 911 over a 356. Sleeker looks in my opinion, plus the fact that some people would prefer a car that can get out of its own way and doesn't try to kill its driver around every turn.

That looks like really mundane work. I'm surprised none of those guys got bored and went Romanov somewhere else.

I was expecting to lol at this video, but upon watching it, the sound sent me over the edge more quickly than I expected.

I'm not sure where you're getting your data, but my car burns less than half the fuel coasting in neutral than it does coasting in 5th gear (0.25GPH in neutral as opposed to about 0.65GPH in 5th—both with AC off). Sure, the EFI is in open-loop, but the difference doesn't make up for the fact that an engine in gear is
