@sven.kirk: The fault in your logic lies right within your response. Yes, any screw up will get you in big trouble if you're audited, but the vast majority of people are never audited.

...yet they left the bicycles untouched. Goddam hipster rioters.
@Isetta: What a bitch.
@smokyburnout: If this is oppositelock, does that mean I should leave something somewhere?
@witless_protection: Naw, just step on that stuff. It's good for the Ch'i.
@Fat Tire: Thanks :-) This whole album, Apollo, Atmospheres and Soundtracks. Was basically written for this exact purpose. It's basically the soundtrack for a 1983 documentary made up of old footage from the Apollo missions. I thought it would be a perfect fit; I'm glad you enjoyed it.
@...And i'm a Snake.: Lag between here and orbit would be miniscule. Remember, the orbiter is only a couple hundred miles up. Round trip latency should be no more than about 500ms. That's not good enough to play Halo, but it would be just fine for the control of a low-power jetpack.
@witless_protection: I'm trying to picture how flip flops would protect me from hot bacon grease.
The fastest car I've ever driven was a W220 S55AMG, but I just respectfully loped it around town at the speed limit for a few minutes. The fastest car I've ever driven fast was a V8 Genesis Sedan.
Mute the engineers. Play this.
@ghs235: Agreed 100%. A shuttle launch is the only thing that will make me cry every time.
@Populoner: That would be hilarious. All of the sudden I like this invention, just for the opportunity to do that.
@Kallandar: Great excuse for calling in to work: "Sorry, I overslept my exit... I ended up in Vegas!"
@ddhboy: I think you mean cue.
@nibby68: Those things are a fucking steal on the used market.
@jason.galkin: If by "are making", you mean "they have really pretty concept drawings", then yes, they are making them like crazy.
@buick61: At what point in my comment did you stop reading? I didn't say what I said only because EVs are old. There are other reasons the Insight was more ahead of its time.
@Isetta: I retract my comment.
@fierrogt: Well, did you watch that part in the video where, you know, the train stopped? That may answer your questions.
