You need to normalize your data for miles driven in Teslas vs. not Teslas, your comparison is meaningless.

Your links don’t prove anything. You might want to show the number of deaths per miles driven, and how many teslas are there compared to every other vehicle on the road, and so on.

Just because Tesla has no PR department doesn’t mean you have to volunteer.

While you’re right that batteries are heavy, you’re leaving out the fact that EV drivetrains are a lot lighter than ICE. At the end of the day, there's not much difference.

Yes, that’s the Achilles Heel of EVs...their weight. Tesla Model S: 1200 pounds of batteries. Ford Lightning: 1800 pounds of batteries. Meanwhile, a full 16 gallon gas tank weighs 100 pounds.

As stated on a recent Tom Parland post, most dealers put ghost vehicles in their listings. Usually vehicles in transit that are already committed to a customer, so I’d take any online inventory info with a grain of salt.

Not all EV’s are this heavy, not to mention, the roads we frequent are commonly used by 40 ton vehicles

So because someone makes a ridiculous , low volume 4.5 tons EV truck we should stick with ICEV’s ?

What I often hear from people about modern car design is that there’s not enough useless black plastic cladding. I’m glad this addresses that complaint by making half the front of the vehicle plastic clad.
