It was DCH Ford of Eatontown that is the dealership mentioned in the article as having jacked up the price with a 10k ADM to the reservation holder, not Granger Ford.

I’ve literally never heard anyone call the new Bronco ugly. 

He did have it in writing. The problem was the dealership employee screwed him over by omitting the fact that what they both signed was simply an acknowledgement of the reservation, rather than a contract that forbid alteration of the final sales price.

At the same time, why does everything have to come down to legality and signed agreements for things like this. Shouldn’t a well functioning system be easy to navigate, transparent, and not rely on having to protect yourself all the time?  An ideal system here should be relatively “frictionless” so to speak.

Yep, I know that I’ll probably get my reservation filled at a later date than most everyone else since I went with the small dealer in WV.

Plus, GM wasn’t really so much painting organized labor as the bad guy as accusing FCA (i.e. not organized labor) and UAW leaders, both of which have already been found guilty (well technically only FCA plead, but if they admitted to the bribery then somebody at UAW damn sure was guilty as well), of being shady.

As a reservation holder caught up in this mess I support this comment.

“Avoid minivans” is terrible advice.

I sure as hell don’t have any sympathy for John Deere. Their anti-consumer practices have consistently been at the forefront of right-to-repair issues.

So dealers will not tell customers about the incentive, and take the extra $2k on top on the market adjustment? Got it. 

Judging by all the dents and creases, it just looks like it was restyled as Toyota.

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.
