Manual is great. Hatch or die though.
“Get these amazingly crafted moving works of art out of there so that we can play an old rich person sport”
That’s the look of a guy who fucks up all the time, and this is just one more to add to the pile.
Particular emphasis on this delusional, elitist statement: “Also, if you live in New York City and you are fortunate enough to own a car and you don’t want your bumper to get nicked then you are probably also fortunate enough to rent a garage space.” Garage spaces run up to $800/month in the central city. And car…
Neutral: Really? Gotta say that’s a pretty shitty take for a car blog. It’s okay to do light damage to other vehicles when you’re parking because it’s crowded? If you own nice things, don’t leave them outside because they’re fair game? I live in an arguably equally crowded city and I’m routinely pissed off at the crowd…
Most cars are boring and uninteresting (but you repeat yourself). Being cheaper is a major factor for those cars.
Good job once again Raph. Writing an article with zero research and then updating it with the correction hardly 10 minutes later.
Seems like you’ve misplaced the responsibility here. A requirement that is available to you for free and might save your life isn’t that much of a lift. If you don’t fulfil that requirement, then you are responsible for not having a job, not the government. Another way to look at it: the protection for renters is…
Nobody’s talking about killing them, buddy. Just refusing to allow them in spaces where they might harm other people.
A Pre-smog big block ‘vette convertible with a 4-speed and proper chrome bumpers? for under $40k?
Okay, I realize you mean well, but this post is significantly unhelpful in terms of providing useful information. It’s also flat-out wrong in some respects. Did you even trade emails with any helmet standards guys before posting this? I’ll try to address things in an orderly fashion.
If the Changli can be considered a vehicle, wouldn’t this be illegally parking in a non-designated public space? If the Changli is not legally classified as a vehicle, wouldn’t this be thie equivalent of leaving your briefcase by a park bench and expecting it to be there when you get back?
“The price weirdly varies depending on trim.”
“since Ford has said it has no plans to bring the Bronco to Europe.”
California car, desirable wagon/stick combo, new clutch and tires, excellent condition, all repair receipts, 2nd owner, decent color combo... and in this market? At least $5K and it’s priced such that he’ll probably get at least 6.
Based on the videos, it appears it was just off the transporter, and still in transport mode. It does not appear it was put in there by the new owner, but rather it had not been taken out of the mode yet post-shipping. Also, Transport Mode has no effect on airbag installation.
Mosquitoes HATE this one trick!
