This feels like it’ll be akin to a Reply-All email storm.

I’m not the S2k purist that some here are. I like the swap, and it really only adds about 100lbs. That’s a fair trade for double hp and exponential torque gain below 5000 rpm.

Regularly? No. But if my new vehicle comes with the requirement for a second vehicle, let alone a second vehicle to spend long trips in, I’m going to pass.

I guess the “Jeep People” weren’t willing to fork over 40 large unless it’s a Wrangler. Even if it’s a Wrangler with a bed and a different name.

1. State legalizes Marijuana
2. State releases those (mostly minority) serving sentences for possession
3. Officers cruising around, the scanner picks up on someone with a record.
4. That vehicle is followed until they have a shred of probable cause or get bored

TIL what CHMSL stands for. TIF

The same thing I did when my hand-me-down had a busted radio:
Put an old boombox where I can reach the dial.

I love the idea but good god that front end is an eye-sore. I thought the round-eye in the first pictures was hard to look at, and then the production version really raised the bar.

Flagged. “Even if it’s on point”? What the actual FUCKS?!

“Get it so Americans don’t need a car at all.

Assuming that’s a Freightliner M2, some googling found that the listed height is 12'6". That’s dangerously close close enough to turn away, but the driver may get some benefit of the doubt, depending on what the warning sticker says in the cab.

If I can get that lease deal and use the vehicle, I could give two shits if the company folds in a few years. Unfortunately, I doubt we’ll ever see this thing on the road.

Even for America. Used Jeeps are way overpriced. The Jimny would be a welcome addition.

Depreciation. That works in your favor on the used market. And 3rd row Stow n’ Go has made my life much easier. I’m not sure about the Pacifica, but last gen T&C/GC can fit a stack of 4x8s in the back with the lid down. I don’t think the Sienna (or any SUV) can do that.

A minivan meets all of those criteria. Usually for a lower price and larger, more usable interior.

plus” a CVT??

I checked out the specs for Segway’s dirt ebike. One line gives me severe pause:

I’d still take the Jimny. I’d bet they’re fairly close in offroad capability, and I’d give the edge to the Jimny based on being modern with safety and such without being over complicated.

Replace the Niva with a Jimny.
