If I can get that lease deal and use the vehicle, I could give two shits if the company folds in a few years. Unfortunately, I doubt we’ll ever see this thing on the road.

Even for America. Used Jeeps are way overpriced. The Jimny would be a welcome addition.
Depreciation. That works in your favor on the used market. And 3rd row Stow n’ Go has made my life much easier. I’m not sure about the Pacifica, but last gen T&C/GC can fit a stack of 4x8s in the back with the lid down. I don’t think the Sienna (or any SUV) can do that.
A minivan meets all of those criteria. Usually for a lower price and larger, more usable interior.
“plus” a CVT??
I checked out the specs for Segway’s dirt ebike. One line gives me severe pause:
I’d still take the Jimny. I’d bet they’re fairly close in offroad capability, and I’d give the edge to the Jimny based on being modern with safety and such without being over complicated.

You know who else should stop auto-playing videos? GMG sites. ie: you.
That’s the “Tornado Alley” areas every year.
Cool, another battery technology. Will it join the pile of unrealized battery improvements that have been reported in the past decade?
Exactly my concern and desires. The people who want the Jimny don’t want a smaller Renegade. We want a solid axle, removable top, mini-Wrangler at a reasonable price. That’s not what they’re going to build.
Oh gods. I can just see a Blizzard exec moving to an automaker and doing just that. That, or Elon, because he does crazy shit sometimes.
The best lawyers let you get away with rape and murder. This is tier 2 on the justice system price sheet, at best.
Anecdotal: I spent Thanksgiving with a group of folks with limited car knowledge (and a strong left lean on political opinions). A majority of the table conversation was singing the praises of the Cybertruck. I was pretty surprised. My points about usability of the back seats with that roofline, and comprisons of the…
