When this popped up, I thought it was a Kinja-deal for a questionable drone marketed to over-protective fathers.

Good. I have a Sync vehicle. The software engineers can burn in Hell for that one.

I’m not sure ‘slick’ is the word I’d use for that. It looks very much like an old mini-bike with no engine

Oof, this reopens a wound. Had an ‘84 Jimmy (that I put a soft-top on) with a bunch of small issues that led to it going out of commission for a while. It fell down the list of priorities and rotted by the house for a few years, and I finally sold it for dirt cheap to a couple that had their same-gen Blazer stolen. I

I’m not saying you should be panicking or anything, but it probably just wouldn’t start at your level. Automation would be introduced at the date-collection point and work up from there.

Then the company just calls it “unallocating”.

I’m sure if this engine was dropped in a plastic-wrapped sardine can, it would get much better numbers, given the 800 lbs of safety technology it wouldn’t have to heave around.

Former Tiburon Owner here. 3rd gen (‘03). The issue can be summed up easily: It was less than the sum of its parts. I also owned a 1st gen Genesis Coupe. They both suffered from the same issues. The manual transmission was rubbery, uninspiring, and poorly geared, and the power delivery was lacking. The Tiburon V6

Neutral: How about a Suzuki Jimny stretched out a bit for a 5ft bed?

Neutral: There are Rangers and S-10s all over the place in my area. The rural market is what needs and wants a small pickup. They fit as a daily driver with real utility, and people have held on to them or ask for princely sums to sell them.

5 acre? In my area (Missouri Ozarks), You could easily get a 2,000 acre ranch with everything you need to live and operate it. Assuming you can find that much contiguous acreage in the land of ‘40 acres and a mule’ plots.

Only the hippest hopsters are edgy enough for this.

Cadillac: “Fuck if I know

Sorry honey, I literally can’t hear anything you’re saying right now. Must be something wrong with this hearing aid.”

“I feel stupid even typing this

Agreed. It only serves as another layer of delay between the driver and reacting to a potentially fatal impact. Too many tests showing all of these systems following a car, which moves over to avoid an obstacle, followed by the system going “hurr-durrr... Oh, beep-beep *crunch*” into said obstacle. Waymo is doing it

“Unlimited” Data

If all the manufacturers are gonna be swinging with each other, find a way to bring Suzuki into the fold and get the Jimmy over here. Whether it be branded a Suzuki, Jeep, Renault, or whatever. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

Could have bounced through a couple auctions

The larger concern, to me, is the social disparity in the birthrate. Educated and responsible people are having less babies, and rural families under the poverty line are still popping ‘em out, per God’s will. This will only widen the gap between rich and poor, further shrinking the middle-class; Who are too broke to
