I have a ‘13 Focus. Luckily, a manual. Paradoxically, I got the Focus because I was looking for a cheap small car with a manual, and this was what I found. Regardless, I don’t have to deal with this tranny issue, and I’m glad for that.

Glad I have the Manual.
“Stinger” is a better name than ‘6’. Objective fact, MoreRealNames!
That wasn’t an Evoque, it is a Chinese knock-off. My definition of a knock-off. I thought the vents were more Mercedes CLS. Maybe the A3 is knocking that off. (hyperbole, of course). My point being, automakers use similar design features all the time, and have done so for a very long time. A signature element would be…
Auto-insurance loses money? That boggles my mind. 20 years of driving, no claims. If you do have a claim, they jack rates to compensate themselves for providing the service you paid for. I always assumed that Auto-insurance was like a casino; License to print money.
That extra $12k should buy something other than the badge. Of course everything is a bit cheaper feeling, you’re paying a clean used car’s worth of extra retail.
I regret that I have but one vote to give. Pipe is chock full o’crack to the tune of about 10 grand.
Don’t worry, I’m sure Tariffs will be put in place to ensure everything remains ‘equal’ for domestic automakers
Unless they try to get away with the Bolt drive-train in a full-size truck because they were betting on swallowing Rivian’s R&D.
“GM has an industry-leading truck franchise and industry-leading electrification capabilities.”
Difference being: The car will actively beep at you incessantly to remind you to “go get the keys, stupid”. It won’t do the same for the gas pump. So, really, they’re worse.
“Can this tell if i read a text message on my lock screen or sent to my watch?”
Given how well automakers have done making their own infotainment systems. Third-Party is absolutely the right direction. For FCA, and everyone else.
I have a last-gen T&C. Utility:dollar for a primary vehicle, you can’t do much better than a 7-seat minivan that can drop the seats to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood with the doors closed. I also have heated alcantara seats, heated steering wheel, and entertainment system for the long road-trips. It may not be the poshest…
I didn’t say it was all necessarily for his safety.
Ounce of prevention. Somebody passes out behind the wheel, and not even in a parking spot, that’s probable cause. Drugs, alcohol, or, in this case, ‘drowsy driving’ could have been involved and led to someone getting seriously hurt. Also, it could be someone having a hart attack, stroke, etc. Getting them checked out…
“We haul scrap with the truck for some extra money.... I can have it here in a just a few minutes, to save you the trip.”
1) Parked outside someone’s house at night
2) Speeding in a school zone
3) Passing out at a fuel pump
