I never believed Faye when she said the movie Supergirl ruined her career.

I think sometimes it’s good for kids to see their parent lose it.... as long as the parents sit with them later and explain why it happened and make apologies as appropriate. It’s about teaching coping skills, and how to recover when those skills fail you.

You think people might figure this out BEFORE they have children. Marriage is a partnership.... unless a 1950's style marriage works for you.

Sort of like moving on when you’ve missed parts of the conversation and are behind the times.

I did work as a waiter for about 3 months. When a small child ripped a tray of 5 meals out of my hand and my first instinct was to slap the hell out of her I realized it wasn’t for me. I didn’t obviously, but I wanted to. I also worked in retail, and the front desk at a hotel. Twenty years later, I’m still not sure

Relax. I’m not a waiter for a reason. The worst part of working with the public, is the public. That, and tyrannical restaurant managers with personalities that put politicians to shame.

A couple tablespoons of food grade citric acid powder works wonders to keep the dishwasher clean and odor free. I use it every few months on the heavy cycle, with the dishwasher empty.

Being an adult means knowing when to speak and when not to. Sometimes silence is the mature and professional way to handle things.

Sometimes serving in silence is as professional as it can get.

    Exactly !

You can serve them in silence. When they ask why tell them that you don’t like their politics and you’re choosing to be polite, because the alternative was to scream at them, or spit on their food.

If it wasn’t for keeping in touch with family that lives far away, I wouldn’t use it. I consider myself a Facebook observer, not really a participant.

Rush brand nail polish. Looks like a fun place either way.

The manager / exec wanting the food to be ordered should be paying the tip. At that level there is always some way for them to get reimbursed, or do some creating, bu legal accounting. If they can’t do that, then the manager should pay it out of their pocket and consider it good will for not having their food spit on.

Avoid food poisoning by never eating at a buffet. I picked up bacillus cereus and won’t ever go again.

For me it was a continuous conversation based on what I could understand at any particular age. She was going through nursing school when I was younger so we both spent a lot of time with her books. She taught me anatomy as she learned it, and I asked questions when something interested me.

A shortage of hash browns calls for a civil rights lawsuit.

Is it just me, or does it seem that neither of these are particularly kind people?

As much as I wanted a sibling when I was younger, I’m glad that I’m an only child. I see friends with siblings and the nonsense they deal with as adults is unbelievable. It’s like they are still all living at home and fighting over everything. I’m glad I don’t have that in my life at all.

As asses go, his is pretty boring. I can’t believe I wasted the time trying to find a picture of it.
