Reading the comments people have left so far, it’s funny that everyone automatically assumes only poor people have bad credit.

And we all know insurance companies don’t do anything for free, hence them not being charities. However, we pay into them for years and years and reap no benefit, but should we need to use them and get some of our money back which any reasonable person should expect, we get penalized. Makes perfect sense.

i mean, i don’t have a diesel in my truck for exactly the reasons you stated (also dealing with diesel at 40 below zero fucking sucks). just thought it was a pretty extreme response. But since you asked, diesels don’t stink (as bad) anymore, and if you tow, they have a LOT more power and get MUCH better mileage.

lots (most) people need to haul stuff AND people and don’t want to buy 2 vehicles. Maybe people in cities don’t need trucks but I don’t know how I could live without one. hauling stuff to the dump, carrying lots of lumber, towing trailers - thats almost every single person who lives in a rural setting

That base model looks like the thing that everybody and their mother on here swear is the truck they want and they’d totally buy it if it became available. Let’s see them put their money where their mouth is...you know, like all those manual-trans cars they were surely going to buy...
