Kind of ironic because I always thought they were bulletproof, then I read this today...

After reading the comments, the only thing I can conclude is hardly anybody knows what a facelift is.

E90*

The engine components still cost more to produce..

Yup, but they’re also about half the price.

Awesome. I LOVE the E46 330i ZHP.

I know, but I’m saying normal people (people are actually buying these) have no idea about that.

Yes, but naming a 6.2 a 6.3 is just.. strange. It’s no difference to the normal person. Why not just be honest and put 6.2?

Don’t forget, 30 seconds is only about 7% faster. Certainly feasible.

Thanks. Not. The fact of the matter is, since the 335i is turbocharged and so detuned from the factory, 80+ horsepower can be safely achieved for less than $300. The same cannot be said for the G37. Second, never once did I say BMWs are more reliable than infinitis. OP was assuming the N54 is very unreliable, all I

Stock it’s not walking away. They’re pretty close stock for stock. Mine is FBO (full bolt on). Catless down pipes, tune, intake, fmic, exhaust, and charge pipe. The G37 doesn’t stand a chance to be honest. I haven’t dynoed my specific car, but a FBO setup will usually dyno at 400hp/420tq at the wheels. Add some E85

Yup, no problem. Honestly, since you drive so much, I’d stay away from a 335i. There is a guy with 230k-ish on his 335i and it’s been good to him but you never know what you’ll get. I certainly am lucky mine’s been so good to me (knock on wood) as I know many owners can’t say the same. But I’d wouldn’t be surprised if

Mine is a 2008 335xi 6MT with the sport package, premium package and cold weather package. Black interior with aluminum trim, sparkling graphite metallic exterior. It took me around 6 months to find the car I wanted. The xi with the 6mt is rare enough, then try to find one CPO with black interior, aluminum trim,

I’ve had my 335i since April 2013. 23,000 miles later it hasn’t been to the dealer once to fix anything besides to get the updated HPFP (free). Oh and did I mention it’s FBO and dusts G37s like they’re walking?

He was joking.. the tire pressure joke is from the M4 cars and coffee accident and the visibility is the camaro’s biggest problem to some.

No E46 M3? Aka the enthusiast special.

Being from Wisconsin, one thing I noticed when shopping for my E90 is 95% of them for sale in Wisconsin have xDrive. Whereas in Chicago area, I’d say less than half were xDrive. Not that that really matters but it was just an observation.

Only if you get two “of the big ones” from harry’s.

I usually average 22 combined in my 350hp AWD 3800lb car with numerous WOT pulls per tank.. 24 is pretty sad for this.
