FYI, you can watch WRC on redbull.tv.

There are rumors that Toyota is trying to lure Subaru back to the WRC. The new WRC cars are due in 2020 (maybe 2021, I can’t remember). That could be why the official news is slow. New engine and back to hatchback would probably be a big change from their original plans. Regardless of body, I would guess they will

Reality is that the Group A cars are now faster than Group B.  Many fastest times were recorded last year.  The new aero packages mean these cars can cary more speed through the corners.  But I do love me some Group B nostalgia.

Sébastien Loeb is a good example of how different disciplines require different skills. He was the champion 9 times in a row in WRC. Then moved to Touring and GT and placed highest 3rd two years in a row. He now mainly does WRX (world rally cross) and can win events but not yet a championship. Then he comes back to

That there are even people who believe Trump is fit to run a country is absolutely shocking to me.

Lot of hate in these comments. Have none of you read The Driver or watched Alex Roy’s film? Great stuff there. Gives a proper overview of where this whole thing started. Personally, I preferred when people did treat this as a race vs a networking event. I still think it’s pretty cool. A guy I used to work with has

That’s a lot of words for something you don’t like.

If that’s your thing, you may want to check out both WRC and WRX. Only missing ingredient from your recipe is the electric motor.

I guess you can kind of try by not buying.

I admit that I only wave if they have a scoop. I’d say I get a wave back 80-90% of the time. Feels good.

If you drive standard you can accurately gauge your speed within +/- 10km/h pretty easily.

Worth also pointing out that even if you are buying a product from a not large company, they are sourcing materials, ingredients, etc from what is likely a large company. No getting around supporting a big business somehow.

I think you’d find examples in a lot of places. Sports being an easy example.

I don’t necessarily know what your conclusion is here, but for sure RedBull is part content company. They have an entire streaming service (www.redbull.tv) dedicated to it that features sports that you are not going to readily find on regular TV. Personally I watch WRC there. There are a lot of other sports

Most hit a deer on the highway moving quicker than 60 km/h. At that speed, you at least can make preventative movements assuming you were aware there was something to avoid.

I hope the video shows a decent wide angle of before the accident. I’m big on a computer not being able to take in all the inputs that a human

It’s less about brand and more about what’s in there and how well it is made. Canada Goose just happens to be one of the most popular brands that are at the top of the class. They are heavy vs some of the more mountaineering brands like TNF. For example you aren’t going to see Canada Goose on someone ascending

At least with the WRX it’s different in Ontario. They maintain sticker price. Checked in with several dealers in Toronto and surrounding area.

Sadly, this is how it works these days. Look at Snap stock prices. Or any tech company that has never made a cent. Hype, hype, and more hype gets the money moving.

I agree with this. I don’t think many people are asking for self driving cars. It’s not solving an actual problem. If people don’t want to drive then the solution is better (much much better) public/mass transit. I figure if public money needs to be spent, then it may as well benefit everyone not companies to sell

but the kids. Most people will always buy the cheaper option that checks the boxes. I don’t think many shop based on fuel economy. I can probably call this a fact based on SUVs being the leading segment right now. Legislation is probably the only way to ensure engineering effort is directed at the long term issues
