Yeah, but it also sounds kind of original. That's a good thing.

What's the same? Some of the actors involved are, but who cares?
Not to be purposefully argumentative, especially since I have not seen all of the episodes yet, but isn't it possible to simply say that not all of the people have to be connected to him, that some of them can be part of a facade? It'd be kind of a cop out, sure, but it would help explain why some weren't connected.
I don't watch Scandal, although I've been told I should, but I was under the impression it was more self-contained at the beginning and then became more serialized as it went on and found its opera-like groove. Is that not right?
If I recall, he was annoyed by her reaching out to Alicia about merging with FA and/or her wanting to slow down the expansion.
My biggest problem with the show, or at least what episodes I watched, is that the episodes were too self-contained. The last ones I saw—I've been bad at keeping up with pretty much everything besides Parks and TGW—were those right before the winter break, the ones with Anslo Garrick. Those were good, and I got the…
I don't think THK served in office.
That's a good point, but while there's really no doubt that Diane and Kalinda won't ever be on the streets, their professional worlds could be easily rocked if they were to join FA, Diane especially. David Lee, at least, would go to war, and this would directly impact FA or whatever it'd be called. To the extent he…
Nah, a good chunk of next season, possibly the last, is devoted to the two firms duking it out.
No stakes being raised leading into the finale? Caning joins LG and then immediately decides, with David Lee, to screw over a name partner. If Diane bolts, LG could be in serious trouble.
With a few exceptions, The Good Wife absolutely nails guest stars. Seriously, if the Kings and their crew could just take over the casting for all of network television, it'd be sooooo much better.
Diane bolts, or at least makes the plans to do so. That's my prediction. They've spent the last few episodes showing her getting pushed out by Caning, so it would make sense. Or maybe it's just a head fake. Maybe she kills him in a fit of rage.
For a few reasons, I had expected one of the LG lawyers to join FA before the end of the season, or at least for the possibility to be set up. Looks like it could be Diane.
I'm saying that they were both essentially trolling Alicia. Sweeney seems to get off on the fact that people are creeped out by him, and maybe his fiancee does, too.
Yeah, I wanted to know that, too. It wasn't clear to me if Diane was trying to screw over Alicia in some way.
Until tonight, possibly, we never necessarily got an indication Sweeney did it…right? Good cause to think he did, but no clear proof, if I recall. Well, perhaps this wasn't so much a confession as her messing with Alicia, just like Sweeney did earlier in the episode when he said he "disposed" of his old wife. If…
I thought that scene was for the viewers, because Kalinda threw the baseball at him and, really, wouldn't most viewers like to do the same, even if you like the character like I do?
I don't think it's gone forever. Not sure if it's that easy in real life, but the show made it seem like it's pretty damn easy to start taping anyone for basically any reason. If they are listening to Caning, who will be talking to LG's people as well as FA's people, what are the odds they won't hear Alicia say…
Kalinda ratted out Diane?
The Other Cary and Julius work in the Super Secret law offices that nobody sees except for an episode here or there, it seems.
