Couldn't it be both? I mean, use it as leverage, sure, but what if Will says anything? If he doesn't, fine, you try to flip him, but if he does talk, well…there's a big break.

Sorry to be dense, but if they were recording, as you suggest, wouldn't it show that Will isn't doing that?

Part of the reason for my DL going to FA theory was that he was bumped up to a series regular. Maybe it's a money thing for the actor, but if not, why do it unless you're going to use him more? The way I am thinking is that DB's hire gets him into trouble, and he decides to bolt taking a lot of family law money with

To be fair, we only see her win with LG people, no? I mean, we don't see her work with own clients at her own firm.

Maybe it's because I am not a lawyer and thus the details aren't obvious to me, but I like the fact that the OPI guy fired right back with Moody. It looks like he'll be a really aggressive challenger who isn't afraid to go toe-to-toe with these people, which makes the show that much more interesting.

Maybe, but I am not recalling anything specific from last season.

Yeah, and yet, I am still interested to see where this is going, because the end isn't obvious.

I think the show could have easily worked in the fact that JH's character would have added a lot of money to FA, thus making it as powerful if not more so than LG, but I just think the cast is too big.

I'd rather get JH back on television on her own show. Maybe a corporate attorney who fights vampires/wherewolves/sea creatures at night or something, while balancing a tricky romantic life. Thursdays this fall, on NBC!

What exactly do you mean?

Is the goal to get him to start talking without thinking so that he implicates himself or something? As you say, there's reality they can't ignore, and if they are good, which they usually are, they won't ignore it.

See my comment above. It seems a little too easy for him, no?

Along with my David Lee going to FA theory, I've started to think maybe the show is going down the path of having Will and Peter end up in legal trouble. FA and what is left of LG will be combined, with Diane and Alicia running the show, even if Cary and others are a part of it.

I liked it because there was actually no courtroom time, but it did advance the story a decent amount. LG and FA both still need new revenue, but more importantly, Jim Moody claims that Eli Gold told him to fix the vote. If so, WHOA. But I think it's BS. I mean, Jim Moody, of Chicago we are led to believe, just

That, and the fact that it makes sense for the show. There's now way to really add someone good like JH and use her frequently. The cast is already too crowded, and that's before you consider the marginal figures. It also is nice that neither LG nor FA got the big lawyer. Not having one of them win was a nice change.

The more I think about it, the more Lowe and Jones leaving might be a good thing, if the show can be shaken up properly. Right now, even the weaker episodes are good to me, because the show just feels comfortable. I like seeing the characters no matter what, but for how long can that last? The thing is, it'd have to

Good call, although on that note, wasn't his arrest last year? Would it really take that long for him to go to trial?

We've seen Kalinda with, what, 2-3 females over the years, one of whom wasn't really a Chicago girl since she was with the Feds, if I recall correctly? Doesn't seem like so many, if I am right.

No, but I think the producers wanted us to assume she'd plow some of it back into the firm. At least the possibility is there, I guess.

Who is suing Alicia for $6 million again?
