LEMOND FRIGGIN' BISHOP? LOL, Eli.

As I said last week, I think we are to assume he's a chummy, hammy grandpa for the firm. He may do dumb stuff, but he delivers when it matters, so he's still around.

His response to what she did, or threatened to do—hurting his firm by taking top clients—was to grow even bigger. Seems like six of one, half a dozen of another, compared to a convertible.

Maybe…

I noticed that thing about David Lee and Boyle, too. I hope it's explained.

Also, to all those complaining about tech naming on this show…remember that the original name for Google was BackRub. Enough said, I think.

How come nobody mentioned that Damian used Howard Lyman giving an $18,000 donation to some policemen's association as a way to get out of a DUI to play a trick on Kalinda? This is amusing on a number of levels, but first and foremost because that is exactly the sort of thing that Howard Lyman would do.

The only problem I have with the idea of him joining the firm is that there's no way he'd be there every week. It's kind of stretching things for Clark Heyden not to be at a meeting about firm finances, but having a judge, whom I assume isn't some nobody, join would make him on the level of Cary and Alicia, no? And if

I continue to be a little confused about how hard it is to get clients. Not every client is ChumHum, but does every client have to be? Is it that unreasonable to think they could take a bunch of smaller cases, perhaps with some sort of discount, to simply bill hours and get revenue while they wait to land bigger fish?

Why is he being compared to Blake? The only reason he really interacted with Kalinda is because Diane asked her to look into his past.

One good thing: he's supposed to be recurring, kind of like David Lee was before this season, but not nearly as frequent.

Nothing he's done so far has been so ridiculous, or at least risky, as hiring Damian. It might be a stretch to think LG could actually expand as aggressively as they are doing, but it makes sense Will would want to do so. But does Damian really get him much more than hiring a bunch of solid but not exceptional lawyers

Why? Seems like they did a pretty good job at covering the issues surrounding it.

I don't think Damian is a Guylinda so much as he is a representation of Will's desire to beat Alicia, probably as a way to hurt her. He was a risky hire, and it remains to be seen whether or not he'll really hurt the firm.

What's a better name?

It sounds…different. I try to be as open minded as possible when it comes to premises on paper. It doesn't sound like something that's been done in recent times, if ever, and for that reason alone, I hope they shoot a pilot.

When I was planning on being a lawyer, I wanted to work at Morrison & Forster. Not only it is supposedly a great firm, but you get an email with @mofo.com in it.

Why would she do that?

Can I petition the producers to have one more immigration themed episode this season and to call it "Ice, Ice Baby"? I mean, we'd have an excuse to bring back America Ferrara and to have her interact with Eli and an excuse for Howard to demonstrate his understanding of how to conduct a politically correct business

I should also add that while it'd be nice to have the talented Ferrera back on television in any capacity, the show itself sounds like an unusual spin on the traditional lawyer show.
