The Lexus with the 2GR based 3.5 engine meets the reliability reputation. Most of them share the platforms with the Toyotas. My sister has 225k miles on her RX350 with the 2Gr and I have no doubt it’ll make it to 300k with minimal issues.

The mechanicals, and most of the electrics, are pretty bulletproof with Lexus. The infotainment systems pre Android-Auto and Carplay were notoriously terrible.

I’ve always enjoyed the movie and watched it recently with both friends who had never been fans and their kids. It held up, thankfully. Of course it’s about selling toys, but the story’s pretty rich for a children’s cartoon.
