Ugh years ago I was using totally fine and dependable AC Delco filters and decided to treat myself and tried out a fancy Fram one.  The first time I tried removing it with the band wrench, the stupid thing twisted and crushed. NEVER AGAIN.

I’m only a little disappointed that Mr Plow wasn’t mentioned in the list or the comments (yet). For shame, internet, for shame.

That feels more like the 70s. By the mid 80s it was full on “oh shizzles they’re eating our lunch, what the hell are we going to do” mode. And then they stumbled blindly ass backwards into SUVs and pickups in the 90s.

This was my immediate thought too along with possible factory level conversions for ICE models to hybrid or electric drivetrains.

It is our poor driver licensing requirements and testing.

ES series are probably the quietest cars out there. I just got an ES350 and coming from a VW Jetta and I can not believe how dead silent it is in this thing. The wind, road and engine noise at 80mph is quieter than 50 in the Jetta, it’s kind of wild.

I believe the medical term is "micropenis".

Come on...

This is one of the most boomer cars I’ve ever seen in my life.

Completely fucking enraged?

If it isn’t “flying delorean time machine” then I’m not interested.

How many inches can you cut the coil springs and can you fit a giant exhaust tip without cutting any of the body work?

Being poor in the 90s meant buying used GM sedans ad wagons from the 80s. I had my share of garbage b bodies of various branding and flavors, all died horrible deaths of rust, engine, exhaust, and transmission failures.

Aren't EVs AWD? Pretty sure that helps too.

Would have bought that immediately.
