I know right? The obviously reluctant facial expressions from the drivers other than Hamilton and Sargeant made it even more entertaining.
Lord knows what we can expect in Vegas...
“This weekend, we saw the hype in full force. Drivers showed up to the track in high-fashion outfits and boasting special, one-off helmets.”
Are you new to F1?
How about the fact that Sir Jackie Stewart was “roped out” of the VIP area, and when he went in to help out Martin Brundle, a security guard stood in his way and wanted him to leave... Sir Jackie Stewart...
Alonso represented all of us, so bored out of his mind he even had time to watch TV and comment on it while driving at over 200 mph.
You don’t have to be European to realize it was cringey. The best thing about the driver intros was it made everyone immediately forget any amount of awkward they felt from the Fast and Furious branded intro.
I didn’t think the drive introduction was that big of a deal until I saw the internet reactions of how cringey many European viewers felt. Now I am glad we did it.
well his heart was in the right place.
lol utilities in this country are monopolies and act as such. we nearly have zero rights when it comes to power, gas, water, etc.
100% this. It also didn’t appear to have any markings, cones, or indicators whatsoever saying otherwise.
Ah, so ultimately someone somewhere is taking too much money for too little work. Understood!
Road plate and traffic cones exist for a reason.
“It’s a service trench that relates to active, permitted work” would involve workers actively working.
expects the work to be completed by the end of May,
GET TO DA TRENCHES!!!
It was a gashole
Absolutely agreed. They just completed some road with in my area, and anything out of the ordinary was either painted orange, and/or marked with a cone, and/or marked with saw horses, and/or covered with metal plates after every work shift when there wasn’t a flagger present
Yes, they are required to cover them if they are certain dimensions. It does not look that bad in the video but its hard to say. Looks filled with dirt but it still would not be great.
If it was bad enough to apparently be damaging vehicles, sounds like there should have been some temporary cover used when not actively being worked on? I’ve seen that done before.
