Not that long ago, some window tint was “metalized film” which would effectively block all cell phone signals. That’s where the craze of sick on cell phone antennas came from in the 90's.

I generally agree with this concept ... if you keep needing the safety net, then you shouldn’t be driving. However, my wife’s car yells at me constantly while driving down any long straight stretch of highway because I haven’t moved the wheel in xx seconds. So, some of these systems need a bit of fine tuning still. My…
I use the RainX washer fluid and leave the wipers on the lowest automatic setting. Put on new Bosch Icon wipers every 3~4 years. I never have an issue with being able to see and my windshield doesn’t get all scratched up from old wiper blades.
I’d like AR that replaces all the appliance cars around me with exciting, unique or exotic cars.
I see enough buttons to keep me happy. I just need volume on the steering wheel, temp on the dash.
Turn signals and hazard lights are super useful if anyone would ever use them. If no one uses them, then these brake lights are just fine I guess.
Congratulations on starting a new adventure.
The Elise owners crowd is one of the most divided groups of people I’ve ever been a part of. I bought my Elise to AutoX and do track days. But there are a ton of people that buy them exactly for this purpose, to make a statement.
You have the correct perspective on this car. It will elevate anyone to a new level of recognition.
I used to own an Elise. Even at 6’1” I was able to get in and out just fine. It does take some practice. But it is quite smooth once you get it down.
They aren’t legal in the US either. People just ignore the law. The first offense is usually just a warning, so people run them until they get caught.
You can almost get this one. A Golf R with a few bolt-ons is really close to 400 hp. No need to pay ridiculous VW markup for a really low volume car.
Flying cars! From movies, startups and even major manufacturers... they have all failed to provide me a Jetson’s style car.
If it really is AWD, that is a huge new area for GM. 900hp is almost useless without full racing tires, but it will be a ton of fun to drive!
This is just dumb lucky!
So you’re the reason all the 240s are gone.
There are two things I think people need to consider. First, breaking a car window is very dependent on where you hit it. Second, even bullet proof glass shatters.
I have been in the same boat for years. Supposedly, they fixed the frame issues with some reinforcements in mid 2009 (2010 model years). I actually run my cars at the track for fun, so a frame with the potential to crack near the front suspension scares me to death. However, if you look at the real data (as much as I…
On one hand I’m disappointed this isn’t available in the Corolla.
