That movie started my obsession with brussels. Still find them totally adorable.

The ending kind of confirmed how I was feeling all along about it. Shallow, idiotic, and overly pleased with itself.

I'm in the minority who thought Raw was terrible.

I was shocked at how good he is on this show. He's still playing someone in his wheelhouse, but with more pathos than expected.

So excited for this. Sadly missed it at AFI last year and have been eager to see since then.

Conjugatin'!!!

Cannonball Run is first thing that comes to mind. And all of Sandler's recent work, where the film is clearly just an excuse for him and his friends to go on vacation.

Me too, such a great performance. He's often really good, but gets blasted for being in popular stuff that people hate.

The Internet seems to hate Gosling, which makes me believe that the Internet has not seen The Nice Guys.

You could draw a line on malfunctioning gyrations from Darryl Hannah to Elizabeth Berkeley.

One hopes that this is not the case where it's clear from the movie that it was fun to make but not so fun to watch.

I'm getting a Wiseau-goes-to-Satanic-wedding vibe from Hiddleston's look here.

Democracy in action. What a country!

But I always found that cruelty very shallow, and that's been borne out by Labute's other work. His bitterness is very empty to me. He's the Hollywood idea of a misanthrope, somehow mistaken for a great indie filmmaker (at least initially).

It has a fun cast and a committed Cage performance but is otherwise Bruckheimer garbage.

Eh, in their defense, a whole decade's worth of movies to narrow down to 50 is really tough. I think SOTL is a masterpiece, but I also think I could find 50 movies from that decade I like as well or better.

The dog is great, I'll give it that.

In the Company of Men is hateful garbage. Neil Labute is the fucking worst.

Con Air was made by a hack. Face/Off was made by an artist.

Panic Room is significantly worse.
