I don't know why you are complaining about a parking ticket when you went to The Grove and thus, more importantly, lost your soul.

Was Jimmy James really Deep Throat? Or was he, in fact, D.B. Cooper?
It truly is.
Fingers crossed for some sweet Baby Chappie prequel shorts!
The Florida Project sounds great but one minor quibble with your write-up on it: "Tangerine reinvented Baker as an ally of the disenfranchised, lending a voice to the kind of Americans—transgender prostitutes, immigrant cabbies—that the movies usually ignore"
I am decidedly not a fan of the Dead, but this actually sounds pretty great.
First time in Boston?
I don't follow comics - did someone ever do an old Spiderman series, like they've done with Batman?
Yep, he really fillion-ed out.
For what it's worth, I in no way intend my comment to indicate I am making light of this news. Apparently there are numerous fatalities. This is awful.
Oh my god. What the fuck?
Trump touched the orb. That thing escaped the glass box.
I've really only felt that way about Haneke with Funny Games, which combines the hectoring with a very immature take on movie violence that comes off as insipid and insulting to the audience. Most of the other films have enough layers that they don't play to me solely as the work of a scold, but I can see where that…
I'm one of those contrarians who only finds Ferrell funny when he's playing the restrained straight-man, and someone else goes nuts (e.g. The Other Guys).
This is the thing - Mark Duplass is a great actor in the right material, but I don't really care that much about the stuff he and his brother make/direct/produce.
I like Kimmy Schmidt and this was my reactions as well. Maybe late Sunday no longer counts as the weekend?
I'm not sure Venom is so much conceptually cool as just "designed by Todd McFarlane at the height of his powers specifically to appeal to 12-year old boys" cool.
This is convenient, seeing as how I already look like Tom Hardy.
Stipe as a mumbler is way overstated in the discussions about early R.E.M. It really only applies to a handful of songs, some from Chronic Town and some from Murmur. By the time of Reckoning, he's very clearly enunciating.
I don't recall it being quite that direct.
