Alien.
Alien.
When did he…drop the beats?
Good on her.
You can't really compare other trailers to the greatest trailer ever made.
The best part was the cutting made it see like he was saying that line to her in the "present", which made it hilariously creepy.
Fair enough. There was a lot of debate on Twitter this week amongst the TV and film critics about where it should count. It doesn't matter, really, except for the fun of list making - it's great no matter what.
No OJ Made in America? Have you not seen it or are you counting it as a film?
Huh. Maybe I need to see it again, but I felt like, while he was somewhat sympathetic, his dialogue was all very on-the-nose. But I was also not over-the-moon about Arrival like everyone else, and I did find his wavering accent very distracting.
Really? I thought he was laughably bad in Arrival. That accent was all over the place. It didn't help that the role was also badly underwritten and pretty generic.
SPOLIER for Rogue One: when they try to steal the Death Star plans, they all wear old presidents masks.
The Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars film.
"The thing the film has down cold from the start is a look and a sense of mass and scale that seemed to elude J.J. Abrams"
Madness. I've actively watched maybe 20 shows this year and it seemed like I was watching too much TV and not enough movies.
I know you are admitting to your own shame about this already here, but please watch Rectify. It's so, so great.
Two things…
Baskets is the most underrated show of this past year.
Jesus Christ that's a lot of TV. Are you agoraphobic or something?
I like that even Harrison Ford is not immune to being emasculated by his children.
Yeah, the score is mixed to high at times, thus slightly overwhelming the movie. But I was ok with it because I thought the score and images were saying more than the dialogue.
They should have just named this Aunt Fuck.
