Good video car review comparing the Focus RS vs the Golf R vs the Audi RS3. Since it’s from the UK it is showing the proper RS3.
I grew up around Grand Rapids, MI. When I moved to Detroit I told myself I would never complain about GR traffic again. Than I moved to Chicago and told myself I would never complain about Detroit traffic again. The way my luck is going I wouldn’t be surprised if I move to LA next.
When I first started driving, way back in 1994, my parents got a new Chrysler mini-van and gave me their old one. It was a 1988 Plymouth Grand Voyager LE. I loved that van. Fully loaded. Drove awesome. Smooth as silk even doing 100 down a dirt road. The memories. Leaving a high school football game one of my friends…
That’s what started turning me off from Nissan (the car company) years ago. Than they started to build uninteresting cars, and now they pull this dick move with the LMP1 people. I will never look at Nissan. When people ask for my opinion on what cars to look at, I say avoid Nissan like the plague.
More like drunken 22 year old girls would be the target demographic for the Ford GT driver.

The grey is still strong with me. But thank you for trying! =)
This! So glad I am not the only one who thinks this! I lost count of how many times I muttered to myself, “You going to back out or not?!”
I grew up around there. Weird indeed. Saw the map and was like that looks familiar. WOOD-TV..no way. I was right there a couple of years ago when I was back in town. Small world.
Some R come with some optional equipment (small stuff like floor mats) that may bring the MSRP to just over $40k (for DSG and DCC equipped cars).
Well...not so sad they didn’t have an R for me to buy. But daaaaaaayum. Not good.
At one point the R was listed on the VW website as having the 2k off. But at another point it wasn’t listed. When I met with my dealer a couple of weeks ago about getting an R they weren’t sure if the R qualified. The R is pretty tight supply but internet rumor is the order books will open back up in December but who…
I wish. Except the R is hard to find and as such they don’t go much (if any) below MSRP. My dealer was charging MSRP but could not get any and had to refund the deposit of two others. I wasn’t planning on looking for a new car until spring 2016 so I haven’t checked with multiple dealers. But 2k is 2k so I thought I…
Great Britain was Germany’s largest customer before WW2. At some point “they are our largest customer” becomes less important.
Neutral:
VW website lists the GTI as having this same offer.
The VW website doesn’t show any current offers for the R. Too bad. I’m seriously considering getting an R.
Since I have access to IHS-Polk VIO information:
