Scotts 1000. Cheap, durable, super economical especially if someone in your household is a “has to take at least 10 sheets out of habit” type, doesn’t clog, really, and cleans the shit out of whatever’s ailin’ you. Available from single roll to multi-thousand packs, or so it seems.

Logitech Anywhere MX. Just the right size, runs on instantly replaceable AA batteries, plenty of programmable buttons. I have the old version that uses the USB receiver, but there’s a new Bluetooth version and an internal rechargeable battery.

My experience has also been great with it...so much so that we picked up a second. Cleans up super easy too.

I used to think that, too. But even AB says that a “uni-tasker” is OK if it’s something from which you get a lot of use. And I use the sandwich maker several times a week.

This is stupid. A properly loaded and prepped charcoal grill is gonna give you 500-600F of direct, searing heat, more when you dome it and keep the air flowing. Superheated air flow is MUCH more important to cooking than reflective heat, otherwise we’d have reflective ovens and not convection ovens. This tin foil crap

A few people have said Breville, but they recommended the higher end models that are more like actual ovens. I have the Breville BOV450XL Mini Smart Oven. It’s called “mini,” but a full-sized dinner plate fits in it, no problem. If you really want something that’s a toaster oven, this is the one.

THANK YOU. Came here to make this exact point. The only questions that are truly “illegal” to even ask are those about health and disabilities—the Americans With Disabilities Act (and some state laws, e.g., CA’s Fair Employment and Housing Act) explicitly prohibits the act of asking health/disability-related questions.

Just as a point of clarification, it is not illegal to ask these questions, it’s illegal to make hiring decisions based on the answers to those questions. For that reason, most HR companies will strongly discourage their interviewers from asking them in order to avoid potentially opening themselves up to litigation.

Along those lines, my parents had this Time/Life Science Library. I read every one of them when I was in elementary school—uh, 40 years ago or so. I asked them recently, and they still have the whole set, so I told them I'd like to have them sometime.

The Chronicles of Prydain books by Lloyd Alexander. It was a bit like Lord of the Rings for a younger audience and I loved Eilonwy. Plus, on the cover I had, Taran reminded me of Luke Skywalker. (I was 5 the year Star Wars came out, so pretty influential.) And a bad guy with a skull for a face and big antlers? Very

Stargate SGU was just starting to get its own legs and really interesting when SyFy decided to pull the plug. It's a real shame, IMO.

Easy answer for me.

My Own Worst Enemy was a good show and did deserve to make it.

Every time the BBC switches out Doctors on Doctor who. I hate watch the first few episodes with the new Doctor and then generally like what they are doing and start loving the show again.
