You're the first person I've seen mention Allie X's album but that is a great pop album.

My list:

I tweeted this to Judd Apatow once; I guess if anyone can make this happen, he can (He also put her into "Trainwreck")

I thought that was hilarious, how O'Doherty knew more about Lennon's life than Hanford did.

I feel like BASKETS and VICE PRINCIPALS should both be on here, but the one show I never see mentioned anywhere is MAN SEEKING WOMAN. I love that show, it did air really early in the year though so maybe people forget about it.

PFT's Big Chunky Bubbles would be fun to see in visual form.
Also Lauren as Ho Ho the Naughty Elf (hey, they managed to put Fourvel in the TV version)

Loved the gratuituous slam on "Community" within the first two minutes of the episode.

I was actually enjoying "Takin' It Slow" in a weird way. It was more entertaining than
"Kevin Can Wait".

I am hoping that Hailee ends up getting a Golden Globe nomination for this. (She was at a HFPA event recently which indicates she might be gearing up for an awards push). This movie doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would get Oscar nominations, but certainly a GG nomination in the "Comedy or Musical" category

Bit I wish had been in this episode:

Zooming in on that issue of "Assortment Periodical", some of the other articles: "Aukerman to Replace Trebek- America's podcast man will take over Jeopardy"; "Aint Too Proud for a Sequel- Teen comedy gets number two!"; "'Takin' It Slow' Gets Third Season" (with a picture of Slow Joey); "Game of Ice and Dragons

I have a feeling Al and Scott's costumes in this were a slight nod to the late Harris Wittels (RIP) and his band Don't Stop or We'll Die, who had a song called "The Ballad of Austin and Ace".

For Belinda to tell the cops that Gamby and Russell burned her house down, that's hearsay unless she recorded it, which she didn't. The brooch is an actual concrete piece of evidence linking them to the crime. If that horse ranch guy held onto it, all someone has to do is notice it and ask him where he got it from-and

I had no idea who that guy who played the Nazi was and I don't listen to Smith's podcasts, and I still thought that was a funny scene. It was a ridiculous idea, the villain trying to put his captives at ease by using the voices of "your popular American actor Al Pacino", etc. The whole movie was just silliness but I

A lot of people of Gamby's mindset have been misusing this word lately though :) So it may have been intentional.

What was it she mumbled in her sleep when he woke up in the morning next to her? I didn't catch it.

And him holding up the toy horse and Snodgrass joking with him "Wow, your daughter must be really small", them both laughing and then Gamby's under-the-breath "She actually eats a lot". Haha, no one's better than McBride at being an a-hole.

I think this has been a pretty good year for movies overall. Normally at this point in the year I'd be hard pressed to come up with 5 movies that I would classify as "good", but this year there have been several. "Deadpool" and "10 Cloverfield Lane" were both mainstream, big budget movies that were intelligently

Jennifer Saunders is a contemporary of all the early to mid-'80s British comedians like Ben Elton, Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmonson (her husband), Rowan Atkinson, etc., so it's really no surprise that if you like Black Adder, The Young Ones, etc. that you would like this show.

The Danny DeVito joke would be funnier if Hailee was in any way short, which she isn't at all. She is 5'8 and was one of the taller girls in Pitch Perfect 2 (her and Alexis Knapp). They even made a joke about her "giraffe legs" in that movie.
