The episode was fine (which for The Good Place is almost better than any comedy on TV). I always find joy in the finely thought out details on this show.

The broadness of Michael’s response to existential horror kept me guessing throughout the episode that it might be just an act. I’m still not sure it wasn’t.

Yeah, this was lower-tier for the show - I was a tad disappointed we didn’t get to see any of the gang faking being tortured to Vicky, though the joke that they actually successfully tortured Tahani was funny. And the flashbacks weren’t great (aside from the great visual of the plunger).
