It was just barely hinted at in this episode, but Stephanie Beatriz-Gina Rodriguez as a couple next season is going to be amazing and I believe in this resurrected show making it happen!

Holt loves them <3
Ugh I’m so used to way more JtV & B99 but I will cherish what I can get! Yeah hopefully they won’t!
The interview is here:
Jane the Virgin is ending next season with a 13 episode season, and B99 is coming back for 13 episodes (also a short season) at midseason. I think the shooting schedules shouldn’t overlap too much.
Yeah this would have been a fine series ender, but I’m so happy it isn’t.
Also the ‘you look great’ call back to the first ep was so fulfilling
I’m glad Amy’s nups went better than the last time she was at the altar.
Between her comedic chops, her facial expressions, and virtually flawless beauty, it really is unfair how superior Melissa Fumero is to most of the world populace. Save some qualities for the rest of us plebes, you know!
“For the last five years, it has been a true pleasure to watch your distracting, childish rivalry evolve into a distracting, childish courtship and now into what I’m sure will be a distracting, childish marriage.”
So they kind of figured this would be the end, right? Glad it isn’t!
It was 90% frosting, so maybe there wasn’t any actual chocolate in it.
Not going to lie...I teared up when Jake started to cry after Amy gave him the “Your butt is da bomb. And there will be no survivors” line. The way Samberg delivered the “I love you so much. You’re my dream girl” through fighting ugly tears was perfect. So happy this is getting another season at NBC.
I agree with Teddy though, having a board filled with pictures of Amy isn’t that weird...
Holt giving Amy & Jake permission to tell him they loved him in the wedding ceremony & then returning the sentiment to both of them was beautiful. I wasn’t the only one dissolving into waterworks at that point I’m sure...
NBC’s only directive to Goor and Schur needs to be, “More Cheddar!”
I appreciate how Jake and Amy’s relationship has been mostly in the background/shown off screen, because for a lot of comedies it can overshadow everything else. But damn this was SO CUTE I was smiling the whole time.
I had a big ol’ dopy grin during the entire wedding scene; it was perfect. Boyle’s “title of my sextape” thing was probably the biggest laugh for me.
You know that’s right.
