Yeah you most certainly need at least a better intake/exhaust to take advantage of most street/stg 1 tunes. The exception being IMO in turbo cars that are too far on the MPG side from the factory.

No doubt there, "mail order tunes" are common too. Plug in your lappy, upload said tune you just downloaded from the interwebs, turn the key and prey.
