Lana, you speak the truth. I disagree with this blog on only one point: This mother ruined her relationship with her son. I can never wrap my head around how it is the parents in cults like this can justify - in their own minds - giving their children away. I’m sure it’s a complex psychological thing, but it’s difficult to for me to reconcile, and I don’t even have kids. Those poor girls - just heartbreaking and infuriating.

I usually DO wash my legs. But occasionally, I’m running waaaaay late and only have enough time for stops in Pittstown, Crotcherdam, and Footsville before I jet. It happens...

I guess I can’t reconcile it any other way. That kind of rot and decay often starts from within...then spreads. Just a feeling I always got from her.

I don’t deny she caused a tremendous amount of harm, but in the end, I feel sorry for her. Her hatred of others was likely only exceeded by her hatred of herself. What pitiful way to have lived and what a waste. Just a truly sad example how one individual’s self-loathing multiplied to affect others.
