The tank float sticks on mine. Around a week after I would fill it up, I'd have to pop the hood and thump the tank with my fist. Then the gauge would be correct.

I got mine when I was 15. Spent the year until I could drive restoring it. I still have it, but it's almost time to go thru the 1600 again.
