The link you posted does not say what you say it says. This guy is a douche but please don’t play into the hysteria of how dangerous playing is.  The most dangerous thing your kid will do is get driven in a car.

This is an enormous pet peeve of mine. I was in the burbs for a bit and in a neighborhood that spanned multiple streets and about 30 homes total. We were 1 of 2 homes that actually used our garage for cars. It was mind boggling. Two car garage on the end of street was filled with random shit including mulch bags, what

I’m sure the timing isn’t an exact match and my mind is playing tricks on me... but I distinctly remember that the New Yorker cover story for an issue published almost perfectly timed to the announcement that Rio had won their host city bid was “Gangland: Who Controls the Streets of Rio.” I remember noticing when I

Is it ok to use corporate speak as long as I always airquote the phrase?

Tony Bennett looked like a stranger in paradise. He put on a happy face after the game but was certainly not living the good life during that stretch. Maybe the best is yet to come for that UVA team but I thought he should have used that TO earlier. Oh well, boulevard of broken dreams for this year’s cavs.

If someone has claimed that their pronunciation of prosciutto is “proper Italian” they are wrong. However, there is an “authentic” Italian-American English dialect common to certain areas of the northeast. Some may

Exactly and it also ignores the fact that the standard Italian spoken in Italy today also differs significantly from the pre-WWI Italian which was not standardized.

Its not authentic Italian.. nor does anyone claim it to be, it is English. That was the point he made which you ignored in lieu of self-fellatio of your own worldliness. Its a uniquely northeast Italian-American thing, an English dialect rooted in old Southern-Italian linguistic quirks.

Except they do.. if you read the article the story links too. See here you go:

The guy is willing to spend thousands on a watch and he has to conform to your accepted style of dress to be taken seriously as a customer? I own two nice watches and bought the spendier one dressed like I had been out hiking... because I had. If they profiled me on my dress they would have lost a sale which is

Why don’t you actually read the article above or the story linked or listen to the actual fking recording of the call at the bottom of said article. There was no stolen car robbery attempt Friday.... first Patty profiled the shit out of them via phone and in person, then the guy they spoke with at the dealership also
