There IS a way to pay for it! She literally just said raise taxes on upper class.

Since the start of Trump’s turn, with a Congress completely under his control, the national debt increased $2 trillion. But somehow, the burden of budgets and debt is always placed on the left. It’s time we let that shit die.

You realize the climate threat is on par with what Lincoln and FDR did? Like there aren’t equal because they’re all different, but in terms of scope and necessity, the New Green Deal is vitally important.

Honestly, the stuff Miller is accused of is so horrifying that I probably unintentionally downplayed it too much in the original version of this piece out of an interest in keeping the overall tone light. I’ve updated with links to Splinter’s coverage, which contains the court documents describing what he supposedly

It’s so, so much worse than this article suggests. For instance, 1) the custody battle is with his mistress. 2) Trump has chosen him for Communications Director, which is technically superior to Press Secretary. 3) He was replaced by Sean Spicer after his mistress revealed their love child.

“Also, I could have gone my whole life without seeing a kid I know from The Lion King (Jackson) butt-ass naked in a shower in a threesome.”

IAAL. Telling someone “you must engage in this specific form of political speech or else you must engage in no speech at all” is illegal. Once the employer permits one type of political speech, the employer must permit all types of political speech. And once the employer mandates a certain form of political speech and

Right. I was responding directly to WhatHappened2U’s question about the creation of a code of conduct in relation to the anthem. The league does not have an absolute right to compel political speech or activity, even if this policy splits the baby just enough to be legally defensible for all the reasons you

I think the issue that keeps being overlooked here is that the anthem policy has a disparate impact based on race. I’d look at this as an Equal Employment Claim. The NFL hasn’t really even tried to offer a pretext for this.

Please edify me as to why the anthem playing or not playing is relevant in relation to an employer being able to set a code of conduct for employees?

Government paid NFL for the patriotic displays, something something... C’mon, you already knew that.

Yes, it is a form of censorship. You are correct about that.

But it looks like they removed it specifically because members were using the platform to facilitate the theft of personal confidential information. That’s a crime and Reddit have no reason to tolerate that. If they really wanted to censor the content because they ‘didn’t like it’, they would have done it a lot

So what you’re saying is that censorship gets a bad rap?

What worries me is the Republican obsession with running government like a “business”. I know government and business are two different things, but they seem to love to conflate the two. Censorship and discrimination by a government is abhorrent and unconstitutional. Censorship and discrimination in the private sector

I’m pretty sure they’re allowed to go start their own plastform and post as much racist shit on it as they want.

Being Nazis and constantly pushing that shit into people’s faces and calling it free speech is still being a Nazi. Its always going to be being a Nazi. And there are always consequences. You may have the right to say it, but others have the right to respond in an appropriate manner to it. :)

No, because that’s not what censorship is.

You’d think people who are technically conservatives would be OK with a business running as it pleases.
