A little bit off the subject, but does anyone know why every one of Hogan's Heroes episodes shows patches of snow on the ground? Was it to make it look more realistic )though having snow 12-months out of the year is hardly realistic)?

I noticed the Kichloe thing too. It was to the writers, producers, et al credit that he was an integral part of the team at that time.
Why did every scene of Stalag 13 show patches of snow on the ground? They obviously filmed during the spring and autumn, and I see nothing gained artistically by having the snow present at all the time.
