We know how much the 2015 Ford Mustang will cost, but we're still not exactly sure how much power it has. Ford will only say that the V8-powered GT will have "more than 420 horsepower." Let's hope it's a lot more, because we just heard that the Horse just gained around 200 to 300 pounds.

CAN'T.... TAKE.... THE WEIGHT

Everyone loves Formula One's fancy thermal imaging camera because it shows the exact role that heat and friction play during racing. Also, it looks really, really neat. Now we get to see what it looks like when it's applied to touring car racing.

It would have been much more fun to hoon it on some dirt roads than to just trash it a random rock.

What you're suggesting would require an enormous database (huge investment by itself), additional computing power (smartphone grade) and will be very unreliable in comparison with a simple radar/ultrasonic sensor. A 3D setup will be more reliable but will cost even more, and as you said, will be twice as susceptible

Is snake heaven made up too?

The soon-to-be-mandatory rear-view cameras could also be used for this, with a bit of image processing for a computer to see how close a car is behind you, and by referencing that with your speed and how quickly the car approaches (grows larger on the image) from frame to frame, the PASL could be activated.

I like how they started adding these after they got acquired by the Chinese, as if to make sure people still know they are produced in Sweden. It looks excellent!

Ah, the classic double-Orlove.

But what is surprising, if you haven't watched much of the old version of Top Gear, and you're more used to the relatively glitzy modern incarnation, what with all its bells and whistles, is how back-to-basics this clip is. There are static shots of each engine, and Jeremy Clarkson goes on about small technical bits,

True, I forgot trucks are used for towing, too. I always imagine an empty bed with a big toolbox and never a trailer.

GTG!

I didn't say they shouldn't, but if the experience is underwhelming, then maybe people who buy this should be warned not to be tricked into thinking this would make a good autoX tool. All I'm asking is to try and find if it's passable as a selling point.

I have questions! How does it feel to Auto-X a pickup, even if it is a 'sporty' one? I'd imagine it is just as bad as a crapcan, but without the self-irony and good value, i.e. just plain sad.
Also, why are GM/Ford not bringing Utes to USA if there is a niche for sport pickups - they are much better at everything

Ugly as fuck.

NHTSA, please DIE.

Why waste a perfectly good shot on eating something with such negligible nutrition and disgusting taste/consistency? I'd never want to swallow it, why make my spouse do it?

A NIPPLE!
