Finally a cheap, honest, DIY-focused, no-nonsense truck for work. I m glad it exists if only to see all of you boomer keyboard warriors would actually put your money where you mouth is, or if you had only used the expensive luxury truck trend as an excuse to hate on everything post ‘89.
Your last sentence sent chills down my spine. So visceral!
Shall we really repeat this EVERY TIME there we discuss a limited edition “overpriced” vehicle?
The market is not a charity. It’s totally up to the government to regulate fuel and vehicle taxation and regulations to prevent this from happening. But TBH this is the least of USA’s problems right now, and it will fix itself anyway- when the recession REALLY hits you’ll guys get some shitboxes from Mexico to fill…
true, bad wording on my side. Still, I expect journalists to at least try and ease out an intriguing angle, something other than “iTs UgLy” and “THEY DONT* MAKW EM LIKE THEY USED TO”
When you put it like the designer is “explaining himself” it’s framed as if what he did was wrong. That’s biased and has no place in the news.
A little like my friend who had rain water drip into his PC from within the Ethernet cable due to a shitty LAN rats-nest job on the roof.
Why? Nominal use case for video nowadays is mobile devices. Who are you to say the inconvenience of 2/3 of the users to rotate their device is less than that of 1/3 to have to use less of their already large screens? It’s not your call.
Get with the times, gramps. It’s not 2006.
You missed triohead’s point. The argument is that the player should display all relevant pixels in the native portrait mode when watching on mobile devices. Currently, it’s baked in on landscape and mobile users with already smaller-than-PC screens suffer needlessly. Clearly for PCs and TVs the problem stays.

Not car related, but if you don’t understand your own consciousness, how can you understand your experience with cars? Gotta start from the basics!
I wish I was that rich 😛
This is why companies hate leaks. I’m sure there are good angles of this thing, but a smudged-up phone camera can’t do anything justice. This is especially true when it’s already... controversially styled.
Mmmmagnum
Jeeeezus, chill out man...
Lol 30 years ago, someone at the stock photography company was like “Yeah, we need more CRT content, it’s the future!”😁
FYI this came standard with our 2020 XC60 (Swedish market). The solid metal mesh divider is still an optional accessory though.
On this topic, there are governmental crash databases in China, Germany, etc. that include injury severity, estimated speeds, scene setup, incidence angles, and other parameters. They are free/cheap and are typically used for research and independent ASIL/FUSA analysis, but can do double duty to inform OEM crash…
Agree. The title makes it sound like he had an accident. This isn’t even going to show as a scratch.
Since Polestar’s rebranding, Smurf Blue is no longer their signature colour. White/Gray-scale is. Maybe they would keep the blue badge for Volvo performance packages.
